LYNN — Complete Labor and Staffing got back to work Friday, cutting the bright red ribbon in front of the company’s new building on Mt. Vernon Street.
The business hires temporary employees and searches for long-term employment for them.
“We’ve had over 13 great years in Lynn with Complete Labor. This was our second branch opened back in 2011, and we’re just happy that everything worked out,” District Manager Stephen Williams said at the reopening.
Williams told the audience, which had gathered outside the new building for the reopening, that its former location had been sold and that after a few months of searching, the business chose 74 Mt. Vernon St as its new location.
“We’re happy that we did not have to leave Lynn, and we’re just excited to be in this location,” Williams said.
Williams has been the district manager for six years, and Sue Higgins has been the manager of the Lynn branch for four years. Williams said that the Lynn branch ranked first in employment hours in the company last year.
“Second year in a row, looks like they’re going to take everyone out again,” Williams said about the Lynn branch.
Mayor Jared Nicholson presented a citation to the business, congratulating it on its new beginning.
