State News Journal, published by 24World Media, provides independent news coverage of American state government, state economies, state courts, state sports and state public life. This page describes what we publish, who it serves and what services are available to readers, partners and advertisers.
News coverage
Our core service is free-to-read digital journalism across nine sections: World, Politics, Business, Technology, Sports, Entertainment, Health, Science and Video. Four staffed desks produce original reporting daily, with statehouse and state-level coverage as our speciality. Stories are written from primary documents and verified reporting, carry honest desk bylines, and are updated when official facts change. There is no paywall on our news reporting.
Syndication and licensing enquiries
News organisations, aggregators and educational institutions interested in republishing or licensing State News Journal reporting should contact the publisher through the contact page. Licensing is considered case by case. Unauthorised scraping and wholesale republication of our reporting is not permitted under our terms of service, and attribution alone does not create a licence.
Advertising services
We offer clearly labelled display advertising and sponsored placements that are visually separated from editorial content. Advertising never influences what our desks cover, how stories are framed or which facts are included. Full details, formats and the advertising terms that govern every booking are set out on our Advertise page. Sponsored content is labelled as sponsored wherever it appears.
Partnerships
24World Media works with state-level civic, educational and industry organisations on clearly disclosed collaborations, including data partnerships, event coverage and community information projects. Every partnership is disclosed on the content it touches, and editorial control of news coverage always remains with State News Journal.
Reader services
Readers can reach our desks with tips, corrections and questions through the contact page. Correction requests are reviewed against our corrections policy, and confirmed errors are amended openly with the change noted. We aim to acknowledge reader messages within two business days.
What we do not offer
State News Journal does not provide financial, legal or medical advice, does not sell reader data, and does not offer paid placement inside news stories. Individuals seeking professional advice should consult a qualified practitioner in their own state.
Service enquiries: 24World Media, 1411 N Sterling Ave, Palatine, IL 60067, United States, or via the contact page.
Availability and languages
State News Journal publishes in English and is available worldwide without registration. Our coverage is United States first, with the World section reserved for international developments that carry a direct American state angle, such as trade decisions affecting state exporters or overseas events involving state National Guard units.
Standards behind every service
Every service described on this page operates under the same published commitments: original reporting only, facts checked against at least two reputable sources, honest desk bylines, labelled advertising, and corrections made in the open. Our privacy policy explains what reader data is collected and what is never sold. Our code of ethics sets the rules our desks work under, and our corrections policy explains how to hold us to them.
Changes to services
If a service changes materially, this page is updated and the change is dated. Questions about anything on this page can be sent through the contact page or to [email protected].
For state institutions and organisations
Governors' offices, state agencies, courts, universities, leagues and companies whose announcements, data or decisions we cover can register a press contact with the relevant desk through the contact page. Registering a contact guarantees that official statements and documents reach the desk quickly; it does not guarantee coverage, framing or timing, which remain editorial decisions.
Corrections and right of reply
Anyone reported on in our coverage has a standing invitation to respond. Verified responses are added to the story they concern, and factual errors are corrected openly under our corrections policy, whether the request comes from a governor's office or a single reader.
Service boundaries
Descriptions on this page are summaries. Where a service involves a contract, licensing agreement or advertising booking, the written agreement between the parties governs in case of any difference from this page.
